The Prince of Wales Alumni Association DC Metro Chapter is Celebrating it's 20 year anniversary by having its Annual Thanksgiving Service on Sunday April 13th, 2008

at 
Zion Lutheran Church, 
7401 New Hampshire Ave,
Takoma Park, MD 20912,
at 3:30pm.
Preacher:- The Reverend Gloria Cline Smythe

As is the school tradition, there will be a concurrent Muslim service,
at the Long Branch Community Center,
8700 Piney Branch Rd,
Silver Spring, MD 20901,
at 2:00pm. 
Alhaji Badamasie Mahdi will preside.

The Prince of Wales Alumni Association is a not-for-profit organization that is dedicated to conducting activities that are exclusively charitable and educational. We are committed to providing aid and assistance as outlined in our constitution to our Alma Mater, the Prince of Wales School in Freetown, Sierra Leone, West Africa. The Association in concert with the other chapters here in the US and in the UK provides scholarships for deserving students, makes an annual donation to the teachers and staff of the school at Christmas time and has provided scientific equipment to the Physics, Chemistry and Biology laboratories. The needs of the school are many and the Associations are working collectively to tackle some of the pressing needs.

As an alumnus or a supporter, your assistance or participation is crucial to the well being and maintenance of the school. We would be delighted if you can join us for the Thanksgiving services on April 13th and at the Long Branch Community Center, 8700 Piney Branch Rd, Silver Spring, MD 20901 for fellowship and refreshments.

If you cannot do either, a donation to the Association will be greatly appreciated.
